''Bonnemaisonia hamifera'' is a species of algae which has invaded the British Isles from Japan. ==Description== This algal species is marine which exists in two phases. One, the gametangial phase, is erect and grows to a length of 20cms. The Tetrasporangial phase forms a fine and relatively short uniseriate filament.
